With a mission to bring innovative construction technologies & proven solutions to the State of Alaska, RAS was founded in 2012 by Seth Kroenke as a fully licensed, bonded and insured Palmer-based general contractor. RAS serves as the organization’s parent company & vertical general contracting arm, specializing in ICF construction & property development. While the company mostly operates within the Anchorage Basin and Matanuska River Valley of Palmer, Wasilla, Chugiak, Eagle River, Anchorage, Girdwood, and the surrounding areas, the company is also uniquely capable of providing service to the most logistically challenging and remote stretches of the state.

WHY “REMOTE ALASKA SOLUTIONS?”
We are often asked about the meaning behind our company name. The truth is, "Remote" perfectly captures the essence of building in Alaska. While our base in the Anchorage Basin and Matanuska River Valley is not in bush Alaska, construction anywhere in the state involves overcoming remote challenges. Whether we are working in the bush, in Anchorage, or in the Valley, Alaska's topography consistently presents unique obstacles in logistics, excavation, extreme weather, bedrock, permafrost, and more. As a solutions-based company, we excel at finding innovative answers to these diverse and demanding conditions.
MEET THE BUILDER:
SETH KROENKE
Seth Kroenke is the owner of Remote Alaska Solutions and developer of multiple Alaska communities. Early in his career, Seth constructed a premier fishing/hunting lodge in remote Alaska and became a commercial pilot operating two air taxis. The experience of living and working in bush Alaska gave him a distinct appreciation for the logistical skills required to successfully tackle any project in Alaska, on or off the road system.
In 2012, he transitioned into full-scale construction & development as owner of Remote Alaska Solutions and its fleet of specialty divisions headquartered in Palmer, Alaska. Seth’s integrity and hard work ethic form the epicenter of his professional career. He and his wife, Jeelan, have four children and enjoy spending time together hunting, fishing, boating and snow-machining in the unending splendor of the Alaskan outdoors.
